How does the lifetime guarantee work?

  • Tessarac is committed to providing the highest standard of jewelry –which is why we offer a Lifetime Guarantee for all purchases of Gold Plated/Vermeil jewelry. If your product is damaged, it fades or stops working under normal wear, this guarantee entitles you to a one-time replacement for the piece. If for any reason we no longer carry the item, you are permitted to exchange your piece for another of equal or lesser value. Please note that once a damaged product is returned, the item is discarded, and we will not be able to reship it back to you. A Shipping and Handling fee of $20 will be charged for all Warranty Replacements.

    *The lifetime guarantee does not cover lost or stolen items.

  • All Customized Jewelry is guaranteed under our 30-Day Quality Guarantee. This policy entitles you to a free, one-time repair of your piece in the event that you experience any defects in craftsmanship or breakage due to manufacturing defects. This guarantee will be voided immediately in the event that user damage is detected (ie: water damage, accidental breakage, missing stones, etc.). Once the 30-day guarantee has expired, a $69 USD Repair Fee will be charged for all future repairable product issues. For more information on your product, please see our policies here.

How long is the shipping process?

  • Tracking and Insurance

    All orders will receive full tracking information via email and/or SMS text. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed.

    TESSARAC is not liable for missing or lost packages once tracking shows delivered. Please use the tracking number we provide to follow your order until it is delivered. Should you never receive your order, but the tracking number shows that it’s been delivered, please check with your mailman, neighbors or building manager/mail room, before contacting us. If you are still unable to locate the package, please reach out to us and we will file a claim. Based on the outcome of the claim, we may or may not be able to replace your order.

    Hold at location is available with FedEx Delivery Manager with your tracking information, if you will not be home for delivery on expedited services.

    TESSARAC ships FedEx Ground and/or USPS Mail services are used for standard shipping. These services are offered for FREE on all orders. Please allow 5-10 business days for delivery (3-5 weeks for AK, HI, and U.S. Territories). PO box addresses are allowed.

    Expedited:

    Expedited shipping services are available at checkout for most items and locations. Orders placed before 9:00 AM EST Monday-Friday will be shipped out that same day. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not considered business days.

    Delivery will be made by FedEx Ground or FedEx Express during business days depending on delivery location.  We cannot deliver to domestic PO boxes with expedited services.

    Free GlobalPost and FedEx international shipping. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

As an International customer, will I have to pay an Import Tax upon placing my order?

    When ordering outside of United States of America, the recipient is responsible for assuring the product can be imported to the destination country.

    The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient's country.

    Customs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable: so, a shipment that is refused because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the total order including original shipping and any return shipping charges will not be refunded. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Normal customs clearance is 1 business day.

    To avoid a delay in receiving your order from customs, we strongly suggest:

    Providing a phone number where you can be reached by customs when your product arrives. This phone number will be listed on the commercial invoice so customs can reach you to clear your order.

    Please do not refuse a shipment or ignore requests from carriers regarding duty and/or tax liability charges. Be aware that most carriers will hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in your country before they abandon or return it to the sender.

    Please note that orders subject to the BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) sales promotion will be taxed at the true commercial value rather than the 100% discount of the item(s).

I didn’t receive my package but my tracking number says it was delivered?

Is the Jewelry Made With Real Gold/Silver/Rhodium?

  • Yes, we only use 14-18k yellow gold, real .925 sterling silver, and genuine white/black rhodium. All of our products are thoroughly tested for quality and durability before, during and after production. We meet all regulations set by the Jewelry Vigilance Committee.

What methods of payment are accepted?

  • The following methods of payment are accepted:
  • * All major credit/debit cards such as: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, etc.
  • * PayPal
  • If you used PayPal  to pay for your items and you're waiting for a refund after returning them but haven't received it within 3-7 business days after the refund was processed, please contact
  • PayPal for more information about your reimbursement.

Why is my discount code not valid?

  • Discount codes are sales specific and are only available for a limited time. If a discount code is no longer available it can not be applied to your order.
  • Discounts are excluded from Pre-Discounted Items, Solid Gold and Customs.

How should I store/protect my jewelry?

  • Jewelry should be kept dry. Avoid exposing your items to water or extensive/intense humidity. If your jewelry is not used frequently, keep it stored in the provided dust bag. Good storage boxes are lined with tarnish-proof fabric and have a separate space for each individual piece. If your climate is humid, place a small packet of desiccant crystals inside your storage area. Avoid storing jewelry with rubber products. Always remove your jewelry when applying colognes, perfumes or other chemical products.

Is your gold plating just like any other company's?

  • No, our gold plated products are finished using the same quality specifications as our vermeil jewelry. The process we use is the highest quality plating available. This process allows our gold plated jewelry to last longer than any typical gold plating you may be used to. We are constantly working to improve processes to ensure our products are the longest lasting available.

What is Vermeil?

  • Vermeil is a term used to describe high-quality jewelry that must meet the following standards:
  • The base metal is .925 Sterling Silver (no brass, copper, nickel, or tungsten)
  • The gold karat must be at least 12K. We utilize 18K and 14K, depending on the piece. 
  • The gold must be at least 2.5 microns thick.  This is much thicker than electroplating or typical gold dipped jewelry and will outlast typical gold plated items.
  •  *All Vermeil items are a 925 sterling silver base, except Franco and Tennis chains which are made of a stainless steel base due to the chain style.*
